![]() AFLAC Outdoor Games will also host the 2008 Pig Bowl, a National and Local Bar-B-Que contest. The Pig Bowl will be officially sanctioned by Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS), a nonprofit organization that has sanctioned almost 300 barbeque contests throughout America. The 2008 Pig Bowl will be divided into a Professional division (that will compete on Saturday, June 28) and an Amateur division (that will compete on Sunday, June 29). There will be four Bar-B-Que categories, Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork and Beef Brisket. Standard team space is 20' x 25'. A second space can be purchased for $25. 110 power and water will be available on a limited basis, first come first serve. All cook teams are to supply their own power source for R/Vs (Generator). A team may compete in one, two, three, or all four categories. There will be a 1st thru 5th place for each category and then a Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion. To be eligible for Grand and Reserve Grand Champion, you must be entered in all four Bar-B-Que categories. Entry fees: $250 to enter Professional division and $150 to enter the Amateur division.
